Hello, Visitor!

I’m an undergraduate student studying marketing in arts organizations – probably more comfortably referred to as ‘promotions’ or ‘outreach’ by these folk.

Whatever the preferred term, many traditional marketing principles and models are employed by the arts world.

My intent with this blog is to increase my own awareness of the marketing efforts surrounding us at any given time.  Whenever the opportunity presents, I’ll focus on arts-related marketing.

Welcome to my catalogue of ideas and musings as I both discover the world of marketing, and learn to identify and uncover these shockingly business-derived bugaboos in the arts context!
